Dear
Highcrest Parents,
Now that you’ve been welcomed (or welcomed back) by Principal Palzet, we have a piece of good news: supporting your child’s enrichment is as easy as twist-turn-open!
Twist: How’s this for a twist – no fundraising party, no auctions, no stopping at the thrift shop to find something to wear to the 1980s/medieval/hippie-themed benefit!
Turn: Turn in your
tax-deductible contribution of $60 or more at Meet & Greet or use
PayPal to make your donation to the Kids are Key campaign.
Open: Open your
child’s mind to all the possibilities enrichment presents! Past
programs included visits by a NASA ambassador, a presentation on weather
by local weather TV reporter Ginger Zee, a day at Naper Settlement
living life like a child in the 1800s, incredible night time sky viewing
and so much more.
That’s it. Really. Just $60 per child is all it takes to fund Highcrest’s enrichment programs. That’s the cost of a night out at the movies for your family – Kids are Key is a much better investment, isn’t it?

Because
we want to make this even easier for you, we’ve asked our good friends in high
places to sweeten the deal. Thanks to
their generous donations, each family that contributes to Kids are Key will
receive a “key,” six of which will unlock fabulous prizes that will be
announced at the November PTO meeting.
These prizes include: Four (4) tickets for A Cubs Dream Day in 2012;
Gift certificates to Depot Nuevo, The Noodle, Wildfire, MI TE Print in Glencoe,
Wilmette Tailor and Cleaners and Three (3) One on One Pilates training sessions
at The Pilates Barre in Winnetka. All
great and generous prizes! Please
contribute to Highcrest’s enrichment programs and maybe you will be the winner
of one of these items!
Visit the Kids are Key table at
Meet & Greet, or go online now (yes, now) to make your contribution. We are
thrilled to be able to provide your students with unique enrichment
opportunities, and look forward to receiving your gift.
Gratefully, Lisa
