Beach Bash @ Friday, May 9

The Beach Bash is an end-of-the-year outdoor celebration for Highcrest students only (a drop-off event), and features a DJ, dancing, Kona Ice Truck, inflatables, photo booths, and lots of fun! Online ticketing is closed but you can still purchase tickets at the door - $25, cash only (accompanying adult required). 

Teacher Appreciation Week 

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5 - May 9. The PTO puts together gifts, lunches and other special surprises for the HMS teachers and staff all week. Thank you for all your contributions!

Join the Highcrest PTO for the 2025-2026 School Year

5th Grade Families: As we look ahead to the next school year, the Highcrest Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is seeking fun and dedicated committee members for the 2025-2026 academic year. We have several key roles that need your support:
After School Clubs Liaison: Work with the school to plan the after school clubs and create the Sign-Up Genius for students to participate. There are currently 4 clubs: Skyline, Chess, Debate, and Math. Without a liaison, we will not be able to support these programs next year.
Hawk Hut: Plan and coordinate the Hawk Hut store, typically done in the cafeteria during lunch hours. It's a fun way to engage with students and manage school spirit merchandise.
Enrichment - 6th Grade Representative: Coordinate enrichment activities specifically designed for 6th graders with the help of the teachers.
Freaky Friday/Beach Bash (Chair): Organize the biggest events for our 5th and 6th graders at Highcrest. Freaky Friday is held in the Fall and Beach Bash in the Spring. It's a chance to create unforgettable experiences for our students.
Membership Toolkit: Act as webmaster, updating monthly information and setting up any stores for programs/events.
Directory/Membership: Work behind the scenes to organize the PTO memberships and directory.
